| Author | Subject: video player never works... |

I've been RTFM-ing massively about xine and how it's supposed to work with various linux distros. It comes with Suse, but I can't get it to play. It never recognizes the formats even though the how to's and other various documentation states it will recognize certain file formats. I use many different formats. Has there been any other type of video player that works better out there? Please do not refer me to RealPlayer. Thanks for your assistance. |

I tried this before ,however, since I upgraded my Linux distro everything seems to be working. Thanks a lot though. I've been very busy and couldn't get to your message but, again, thanks. I really do appreciate it. Anonymous wrote: >> MPlayer has very good codec support. http://www.mplayerhq.hu/ << |
