![]() ![]() Original Poster: Mikey I hate Linux Netscape. It sucks. It could suck the crome off a trailer hitch. It makes me want to fire up Windows. (gasp, oh the humanity!) Use Mozilla if at all possible. That said, You might try running the netscape executable without invoking the standard script that loads it up using ld-linux.so.2. It may have been just a placebo efect, but I think I've found that it runs better and is easier to slaughter when it crashes if you just run the executable. The complicated script that launches the thing lives at: /usr/bin/netscape The actual netscape executable lives at: /usr/lib/netscape/netscape-navigtor or /usr/lib/netscape/netscape-communicator Experiment with that, and please let us know what you find! -Mikey |
