I've deleted the alleged virus (sample.exe attachment) from the
support forum.

And I'll remind people that a virus is not like Medusa, merely looking
at it doesn't turn your computer to stone. The important thing is
to not run it, or more commonly, don't let some server, mail client,
or web browser automatically run it for you. This is where Microsoft
really misses the boat by giving their servers too much power and
implicitly running dangerous code. Anyway, the support forum displays
text with <xmp> tags. My browser doesn't automatically decode this and
run it and I doubt other browsers do.

Oh sure, blame it on FreeBSD. :-)
