Ah, I see you're missing the secret handshake. I could tell you, but
then I'd have to kill you. :-)

But seriously, modems (except for winmodems) are pretty standard, the
driver just talks to the serial port. I suspect that you have an IRQ
or Plug and Pray conflict (I always turn Plug and Pray off). Try
manually setting the IRQ and double check the BIOS for conflicts. And
try minicomm or Kermit until you can talk to the modem with AT commands,
and only later try PPP.

Yes, I see that on their hardware page, but that's under "PCI Memory
Mapped Modems". I agree that PCI is a problem, but the Supra Express
is an ISA modem. It's the Supra Max that's PCI.
