By default, I have been appointed the person to look after a small NT Proxy
server at work. Additionally, some other people where I work want a file
server. Since my IT budget is nearly zero and I want to sneak in Linux
anyway, I thought I'd try to make the file server use Suse Linux
Professonal. Anyway, I really don't know what I'm doing, but I got the Linux
installed on an old Compaq machine and want to somehow connect it into our
small network. All of the client machines are some type of Win 9X. I can
ping any computer from the Linux machine and also ping the Linux machine from
any other computer. How do I get the Linux machine to show up in the Network
Neighborhood section so that people can save files on it. By the way, did I
mention that I have no idea of what I'm doing?

Best regards,
Larry Austin
