I'm running a dual-boot setup with Windows 98 and Mandrake Linux 8.2. I'm
relatively new to Linux, but I already like it much better than Windows. If
only my scanner worked with Linux I might be tempted to dump Windows altogether.

Be that as it may, I've decided it's time to get a CD-RW drive. I've been
getting along with making backups to a Syquest 200 Mb removable, but that
drive is aging rapidly. CDs are definitely the way to go.

I've been looking at a Cendyne Lightning II drive from Office Max, but I'm
wondering...Will it work properly with Mandrake Linux?
