The graphical part of the Linux installation, called the X Server, is not
working properly at this point, I'd guess. If the video card is not solidly
supported by the X Server's drivers, you'll get a blank screen. Linux is
running merrily along, but you don't realize it. Press Ctrl-Alt-F1 (or just
Alt-F1) and you'll see a login screen that will let you log on as the root
user to fix problems. Give Corel's support a call or write to them and ask for
the step-by-step instructions they have for this. It's the most common
installation problem, from what I know. Corel has instructions specifically
for this.
