I installed Mandrake to a partition on my D drive, but when I boot it only
recognizes Windows XP. The boot disk I made works like a champ. What I
want to do is transfer the settings on the bootdisk to the boot.ini file so
I don't have to use the floppy to boot.

boot.msg file contents:
Press <return> (or wait 10 seconds) to boot your Linux-Mandrake system from

syslinux.cfg file contents:

default linux
prompt 1
display boot.msg
timeout 100
label linux
kernel vmlinuz
append initrd=initrd.img root=/dev/hdd6 devfs=mount hdc=ide-scsi

Thanks in advance for the help.
