Regarding the 2 NICs, we'll need more info to be able to help. What
brand/make/model are they? What drivers did you compile and install, and how
did you install/configure them? Did you or the OS make changes to
/etc/modules.conf? Check /var/log/messages and let us know what kinds of info
you see there when the 2 cards are initialised.

As to the "Internet Connection Sharing", in the networking world it is
referred to as NAT (Network Address Translation), and Linux folks often refer
to it as IP Masquerading. However, in order to use NAT, you'll first need to
make sure your local network is functioning properly, as well as whatever you
use to connect to the Internet. Then you'll be ready to play with NAT.
