There are two steps here. First, you need to get the right modules
loaded, as controlled by /etc/modules.conf. It looks like this is
(mostly) working. But it's easy enough to check. Boot the machine
without networking and modprobe the devices manually. When that
works, add the lines to modules.conf.

But I think the problem is in ifcfg-eth1 (somewhere below /etc/sysconfig).
How do you want to configure eth1? Static address? DHCP?

And it would really help if you showed us modules.conf, ifcfg-eth0
and ifcfg-eth1. Don't keep us guessing in the dark.
