Sirs,
I have downloaded Red Hat 9 on to my computer .....Its an older =
pavilion hp (not that old) using the
2 disks I got from the book Beginning Red Hat Linux 9 , it includes the =
publishers edition of Red Hat Linux 9.....but I cant get on the =
internet. I also have the Red Hat Linux 9 Bible with 3 disks but I didnt =
use that. Whats wrong ? do I need to download another driver? Im a =
beginner with Red Hat but I like what I see and have read so far. I can =
use what I have installed and all... but I just cant get on the net.
Do you know whats wrong or what I did wrong or do you need more info? =
Could it be my computer? (I bought it used)
I just bought a new computer that I use for the net with windows on it =
but I want to learn more about Red Hat.
Oh yeah I have read that you need 6 disks to install Red Hat but a short =
version with 3 disks can be used....I only used the 2 disks from the =
biginning book , could that be it?
~tom~
ps: Wow,there are lots of great games on Red Hat!!!
