If the e-mail account is only web-based, a "mail" package wouldn't work to grab the mail, as the protocols are two very different beasts. Accessing regular e-mail is done via the POP or IMAP mailbox protocols, whereas the web uses HTTP. So unless the mail is also accessible via a mailbox protocol as well as via a browser, you'd have to create your own custom program to scarf it,and I doubt that writing that kind of program would be quick or easy. Otherwise, you could use fetchmail, pine, mutt, or any one of a dozen or so mail clients to get it. |
